Collaborate closely with developers to promote concept of reliability engineering during all phases of SDLC to detect and correct non-functional issues earlier in life cycle. Support applications and services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, creation of application flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio, capacity planning and launch reviews. Perform instrumenting applications to enable performance diagnostics and monitor using Dynatrace. Assess gaps in as-is monitoring tool capabilities and recommend tools to augment or replace existing tools.

Partner with development and platform teams to design and implement zero-downtime deployment approaches, real-time logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions including Zerto, Sumologic, Splunk, Panorama, Nagios, Dynatrace, Azure AppInsights, OpsGenie and code instrumentation. Liaise with Application Development teams, Infrastructure & Operations, and automation/DevOps team to promote and incorporate DevOps tool chain such as CI/CD, Canary Pushes/ Blue-Green deployments, Software Defined Infrastructure, and tools. Promote and assist Application Development teams with incorporating standard technical stack when provisioning new solutions.
